SATELLITE MODEM

Comtech EF Data’s Satellite Modem is compliant with the strict requirements defined in MIL-STD-188-165A, modem types I, II, IV, V and VI for applications on DSCS, WGS and commercial satellites. Data rates from 8kbps to 155 Mbps and symbol rates from 32 ksps to 64 Msps are supported.

CTOG-250 TRAFFIC OPTIMIZATION GATEWAY

The CTOG-250 Comtech Traffic Optimization Gateway (Figure 1-1) is designed to support large networks requiring high throughput. The CTOG-250 integrates the Comtech EF Data point-to-multipoint CDM-800 Gateway Router and serves as an enhanced “hub” or local site equipment component of Comtech EF Data’s Advanced VSAT Series group of products. This manual refers to the CTOG-250 with integrated CDM-800 collectively as the CTOG-250.
